Was invited back the next week to paint from a live model. Couldn't pass that up! Once out of school it is rare to get an opportunity to paint live models, unless you can tie down or drug your own family members. (A course of action I am NOT advocating.) So here's the mostly finished piece. Still have some work to do on the background which may, or may not get done.
very nice! are you using oils? i want to get into painting people more. not a strong point of mine. keep it up!
ReplyDeleteNo. To the chagrin of my teacher, I am using acrylics. I've decided that I'm going to have to take the class later and actually learn how to paint with oils, but this is in the future.
