Practicing painting skills for my fairy tale illustrations. This is just a study. Trying to get facial proportions and skin tones down. Already realized, after initial posting that both these illustrations have the left hand coming up in some awkward way. Trust me when I say that I have created work in between these two pieces which did NOT have the figure holding their left hand up to their face.
Tatterhood is my favorite. I did not think the left hand was weird at all, just a slightly different light perspective than her right shoulder. At first, I was thinking this was paper cuts, until I looked closer and read. I love your paper cut work too. And the website looks great, nice calming background. Good job, Jackie! -Kristin
